What We Do

Four services.
One specialist.

We cover everything a fire door needs from first inspection through to long term maintenance. One qualified team, one point of contact, and documentation that holds up to scrutiny at every stage.

01

UK Fire Door Training qualified inspectors delivering thorough, image backed reports via our technology. Clear findings and practical recommendations.

02

Our principle is always remediate before replace. Where it is safe and compliant to repair, we will. Where new installation is needed, our UK Fire Door Training certified team of master carpenters is ready.

03

Every completed job results in a certificate for your fire door or door set. Issued the same day, digitally, and held on record so your audit trail is always complete and accessible.

04

Fire door compliance is an ongoing responsibility. We offer maintenance packages from 2 to 10 years so you can hand that responsibility to a qualified team and focus on everything else.

What makes us different

We remediate
before replacing.

A replacement door is the expensive answer, and it is not always the right one. Where it is safe and compliant to do so, we repair.

On a recent 55-door community centre survey in west Cornwall, eight doorsets needed remediation rather than replacement. That is eight doors' worth of budget that stayed in the building — and went on the doors that genuinely had to be changed.

We record what we find and never overstate a door's condition. Recommendations reflect compliance need, not sales.

For committees and trustees

Funding-ready
reports.

Surveys and reports suitable for grant and funding applications.

Our reports are laid out so the figures can go straight into an application: itemised per door, with options priced side by side. A committee can see exactly what it is approving, and a funder can see exactly what the money buys.

If you have a funding deadline, tell us when you enquire. We will work to it.

Whole building Fire Door Surveys

From 3 doors
upwards.

Whole-building fire door surveys, priced per door, with multi-door rates for whole buildings.

Neighbouring properties surveyed on the same visit are priced at the multi-door rate. If a neighbour wants to join, tell us before we leave the site and we will price them in on the spot.

It happens more often than you would think. Twice this year a neighbour has asked to be added after seeing the quote — and both times it was cheaper for everyone because we were already there.

What happens next

Three steps.
Fully compliant.

1
Contact us

Send the form or email us with any questions and one of our inspectors will be in touch within 24 hours.

2
Insepection and report

A certified inspector carries out a comprehensive 30 point inspection on every door. You'll receive a detailed, image backed report showing what is compliant and what requires attention, and compliant doors are certified on the day. £30 + VAT per door.

3
Remedial work, replacement and certification

Where doors need work, we'll provide a full detailed quote for repair and replacement side by side, prioritising repair where safe to do so. If you go ahead within 60 days, your inspection fee is deducted from the cost. Once the work is complete, we'll re-inspect and certify.

Why it matters

The duty sits
with the building.

If you are the responsible person for a building, fire door condition is your duty to evidence, not your contractor's to remember. In October 2025 a managing agent, Freehold Managers, was fined £50,000 over fire door failings. We mention it once, as context, because it is the reason committees are asking for records they did not previously keep.

A survey gives you that record: every door photographed, every finding written down, and a certificate the same day.

Why Us

The competent team
you have been
looking for.

The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005, strengthened by the Fire Safety Act 2021 and the Fire Safety (England) Regulations 2022, requires you, as the responsible person, to appoint a competent contractor for any work on your fire doors. We take that responsibility seriously so you do not have to. Approachable, affordable and always straight with you.

No scare tactics

We explain the compliance process in plain terms, help you understand what is needed and why, and keep you informed at every stage. No unnecessary upselling.

Supportive Technology

Our strength lies in people and their skills. We use technology to support our work capturing data onsite ensuring your documentation is ready when your auditor needs it.

Remediate before replace

We understand the cost pressure on landlords and managing agents. Wherever it is safe and compliant, we repair first. You get the outcome you need without unnecessary expense.
